According to the Israel Central Bureau of Statistics, 10.6% of Israel’s population is over the age of 65. The forecast by 2035 is more than 14.5% of Israel’s population (more than 1.5 million people).

Due to the retirement from the labor force, functional decline, physical disabilities which leads to an increase in suicide rates we must help them overcome their state of loneliness and regression and pave a way for them to return to a life that is active, vital and fulfilling.
The lengthening of life expectancy and the breakdown of traditional social structures due to the technological changes –gives us the opportunity to learn and to benefit from the great knowledge and life experience of senior citizens.
